Kim Dellavedova's new album 'City Keepers' will be released through MGM on September 18

Though its feet are planted firmly in country - with plenty of gorgeous pedal steel - this album, as the title suggests, has a cool, urban tone. Combining Lucinda Williams's languid delivery with Aimee Mann's melodic fluency, Victorian Dellavedova works a subtle magic that compels the listener to keep coming back for more.
